What's the difference between AR, VR, MR, and XR?

  • VR - "Virtual Reality" = Fully immersive content, usually requiring a closed-off headset with 2 screens to create the illusion of an entire reality (Meta Quest, Pico, VIVE, etc.)

  • AR - "Augmented Reality" = Content is that is presented over the physical reality or "augments" it through a camera or see-through screen. (Tablets, Mobile Phones, Smart Glasses, etc.)

  • MR - "Mixed Reality" = Content that is a combination of physical and digital layers that both interact in real time. (Hololens, Apple Vision Pro, etc.)

  • XR - "Ex-Arr" = A variable term like in mathematics/programming where X serves as the collective for all of the above. Also sometimes called "Extended Reality" for edge cases or classifications that don't fit neatly in one class or another.

  • AI is a genuinely helpful tool when it comes to tasks that require automation, testing and optimization. This saves time for us to focus on elevating your projects and pivoting when necessary.

    That being said, we prioritize crafting solutions by hand to ensure quality, scalability and security.

  • Testing, clean up and automation of repetitive tasks for coding solutions is the most logical and appropriate use of it.
